Today was our first day in Batey 50! It was amazing and the weather was beautiful. We met families and children – they were adorable and wonderful. We mixed and poured cemente for the floor of the house we are working on. It was hard work but we got it all done! We can’t wait to go back and work again tomorrow!

Aren’t the people in Batey 50 wonderful. They are poor, but there is such a wonderful spirit of life there, I just love working in that Batey. I pray God will encourage you as you work there each day and bless you with a good night of rest.
